About Me

I’m Chris Schiffhauer. Some of my primary interests are software development and foreign languages, cultures, etc. I blog about those subjects a lot here.

I spent a few years studying in France during which time I became fluent in French. From there I’ve studied Italian, Norwegian, Spanish, German, and a few others. I’ve since worked in countries throughout Western Europe. But I’m mostly endeared to French and France.

I very much enjoy bringing these two interests together and developing software for an international audience or for the study of languages. I’ve written software for the following written languages: Arabic, Catalan, Danish, English, French, German, Norwegian, Occitan, Russian, Shona, Spanish, and Swedish.

    Sehr geehrter Herr Schiffhauer,
